Bei-SRI Index Launches KEHATI

Momentum world environment day which falls on June 5, used Indonesia Stock Exchange (Bei) to launch the SRI index-KEHATI. Stock index based environment that will be launched on 8 June 2009.

Index is a cooperation between Bei with the Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation (Kehati). Investors can use this index as a barometer for the company to invest the funds that have awareness of the environmental, social, and governance of both companies.

Emiten done by considering the fundamental aspects of the SRI-KEHATI 25 emiten to determine the best.
Based on the fundamental aspects of the six factors, namely "environmental", "community", "corporate governance", "human rights", "business behavior", and "labor practices and decent work".

Emiten upgrading will be done twice a year, the first exchange haru each February and August. Meanwhile, the basic calculation of the index day is December 28, 2006 with the initial index value is 100.

For the period 1 January to July 2009, 25 emiten incoming stock index is Antam, Astra International, Unilever, Semen Cibinong, Bank Danamon, Telkom, Bank CIMB-Niaga, United Tractor. In addition, shareholders Tambang Coal Bukit Asam, Astra Agro Lestari, Medco International, Indocement Tunggal Perkasa, Timah, Kalbe Farma, Bank BRI, Indofood Sukses Makmur, Bank Panin, Berlian Tanker rate, AKR Corporindo, Bank BCA, Indosat, Bank Mandiri, Lippo Karawaci, Bank BII, Global Mediacom, Inco, Semen Gresik, Bank Permata and Bank OCBC NISP.
